Brow Henna
What Is the Brow Henna Treatment?
With this treatment, we use semi-permanent dye to dye your eyebrow hair but we also tint the skin underneath with henna, giving a more filled-in look. It’s a good option for sparse eyebrows. Commonly known as henna brows, this treatment stains the skin giving you tinted hairs and skin for up to 6 weeks.
Benefits of Henna Brows
The benefits of henna brows include:
- Fuller-looking brows
- A great solution for sparse or over-plucked brows
- Henna is great for grey hair
- Suitable for sensitive skin
- Henna stays on hair for up to 6 weeks
There can be broad range on how long the tint will stay on the skin is due to skin type and self-care. The henna tint won’t last as long on oily skin, and a lot of sweating or scrubbing your face will make the henna fade sooner.
Brow Henna FAQs
We know you have questions. Here are some answers. If you don’t see the answer you’re looking for, call us or schedule a free consultation.
What does the process involve?
First, the aesthetician will cleanse your brows to remove oil, dead skin, and loose hairs. They will then take precise measurements in a process known as brow mapping to determine the ideal shape of your brows. Next, they will apply the henna, which will need to sit for about 15 minutes. Once the henna tint has set, the aesthetician will remove it and then groom your brows, plucking or brushing to create well-defined brows.
Isn’t henna orange?
Your brows may appear slightly red or orange at first, but the color will darken within 24-48 hours.
What’s the difference between henna brows and eyebrow tinting?
Henna brows last longer than eyebrow tinting, and are the better option if you have very thin or sparse brows.
Is there anything else I should know?
Yes. Before applying any henna, tint, or skincare products, our aestheticians do a patch test to test your skin for sensitivities, to make sure the treatment is safe for your skin and won’t cause a reaction. Once we determine that you’re not allergic to henna, we’ll proceed.
Are you ready for a long-lasting, natural way to get bolder eyebrows? We can’t wait to see you!
